I just passed my driving test last Saturday. My husband is pushing me to drive going to work. I'm still nervous though.

It is bound to be nerve-wracking. I can still remember my first (terrifying) solo drive, and that was 45 years ago. :icon_lol:

I'd recommend taking somebody with you on the first trip or two, just until you get used to the route and gain a little confidence, but do bear in mind that most other motorists are just trying to keep out of each other's way too, rather than out to kill you...and do usually obey the rules of the road, unlike in the Phils.

Give bicycles plenty of space.

In Spain we have a green 'L plate' for drivers who have passed the test less than six ago.

In UK I would suggest that a new driver keeps the 'L Plate' on the car until they feel more confident.

In the UK we have green P plates.
These are used on a voluntary basis by those folks who have just passed the driving test.

Quite a few folks use them around our area.

Well done Mrs.Smith :xxgrinning--00xx3:
If I see a P plate I always take care and give extra allowances......we all started out as newbie drivers

Glad it all went well.

Very well done Mrs Smith. Driving was the best thing I did. Now I understand when people say they get lost without a car. Right after I pass my test, swimming next but I swim like a rock and I can't figure out how to float. :Brick:
