Visa 4 UK is being difficult again.

My account has been locked and an unlock code has been sent to my registered e-mail address. I have been waiting for 3 hours now and I haven't received any e-mail from it. Any contacts for that website?

I was just about to print my application. :(

They have a system error. You need to contact them and ask how you can submit your application with the error you are currently getting.

Hi terpe, my account has been locked since Friday, I tried unlocking it by clicking the forgot password stuff and until now there's no resetting of password of any reply from visa 4uk to my email. :(

Oh dear....
Have you tried clicking on the 'Log In' button and then selecting the 'Forgotten your password' link?

That may trigger another email with a link to unlock your account.
Have you checked that your e-mail client hasn't blocked the 'unlock e-mail' or put it in junk/spam folder.

Try a 'clean' log-in here:-
https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/Account/login

and hit the forgotten password link.

Sorry if you've done all this before

I tried logging in, I got the error message again from the above picture. I have click forgot password again and again...

But since Friday that I clicked that for the first time again, I haven't received any e-mail. Also there's no messages on my spam.

I am not sure if this is stupidity but I am thinking that even if it's online there are people who are working of resetting password but since it weekend no one could reset it lol. I can't print my application form huhu

Sorry Jen if this sounds crazy but just trying to help...

Did you use the same e-mail always with vis4UK ?

Has your internet provider blocked any e-mails ?

Are you able to completely set up and register a new account. Note that you'll need to use a different e-mail address to do that? Just an idea to minimise delays.

Hi terpe,

I didn't register for a new account as I have already paid with my application, just need to print the form out. I've been using the same email since then, I meant since I applied for my marriage visitor visa before. I have tried using my phone, my computer, a computer shop's computer, and a computer from work. :(

The Director General of UKVI is Sarah Rapson
Her e-mail is sarah.rapson@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Her telephone number is 020 7035 1678

Get in touch and demand an urgent response.
She may not know how to resolve, but she must know the person who does know.
Find that person .........post contact details here Hehehe

UPDATE:

I just called VFS Philippines and told the agent about my situation, she said the only option is to create a new account, pay again and request for refund of my previous payment. Tell me I am a bad person but I can't help but to vent out every thing. I told her that ITS A NO NO NO WAY!! Because it is not our fault, it's their system error, I cried whilst telling them how their silly website error affects people. I even told her that every thing has been organised and I WOULD NOT ACCEPT THAT IN JUST ONE UNLOCK CODE, ALL THE PLANS AND DOCUMENTS WILL BE CHANGED!! I told her that they should need to make their system better because it has big impacts to the people. This is not just a simple application.
I am aware that VFS has nothing to do with VISA4UK website but their system is also not good, I even told her the recorded welcome spill of their trunk line is too long that will already cost us 100 plus pesos as it is 32 PHP per minute!

Sir terpe, I have printed my application form right after I submitted and paid it, but the thing is I used it as scratch where I put mini checked on the side cause of I was checking my answers. Do you think I can submit it? I talked to vfs and they said it's fine if I cannot give them the print out of my appointment because they already have the master list. I'm just worried with the application form

I don't know Jen.
My mantra is "minimise risks"........so personally I'd want UKVI to say it OK to submit.
I can't see it would make any difference.......but UKVI are not known for compassion or understanding.

UKVI should already have gotten back to you by now IMO

I've emailed Sarah Rapson, my boyfriend left a voicemail as well, I've also been calling the customer service of immigration, but they're queuing, I've also sent email to apply online e-support. I've emailed to what Ms rani suggested and got reply but she told me to email apply online e-support. I hope I can get a reply before Wednesday. I'm also scared and want to know what happened to my registration of email address if I am not receiving any email.

UPDATE:

I have seen in one of the threads here this mobile number,

Mobile: +63 (0)917 556 8120

I called that and a british man answered it, he was a good man (and I believe that he is an official of somewhat) , I got scared because he asked where I got his number I just said I was searching on google who I can call and ask for the help, (the filipina agent also asked which website but I said I forgot which where, I was just on google) the man asked his colleague about my concern, he noted my mobile number and name and he told me that he's going to ask the customer service to call me. After 1 minute someone called me, (a filipina) agent, asking my concern, she was helpful but quite of mataray, she gave me some email address where I can send my concern and I did it, but i was still worried that it might take so long to respond.

Last night:
My boyfriend left voicemail to Sarah Rapson, and I have seen a customer service phone numbers of UKVI on their website but I know those are for applicants within UK but my boyfriend and I was desperate so we tried calling them. I also rang them for 5 times but their queuing so I let my boyfriend call them from time to time.

I have emailed the address that Ms.Rani suggested last night and got response in no time, she's a manager in VFS, and I was losing hope as I know she has nothing to do with Visa4UK website. She gave me the applye-online e-mail address for my concern, and again I lost hope.

So as Miss Rani suggested, let my fiance email the manager of VFS, he emailed her last night.

I was planning to go to VFS personally to ask for their help but my boss didnt want to allow me to go undertime because its first day of the month and my incentive will get affected, but I told her that this is so important so she let me.

Before I logged out, an email from the manager of VFS beeped my phone again and she said she already has the solution for my concern. She asked me to call her so I called her thru her mobile and she told me that she contacted (blah blah british) and they told her that they will just print out my application form and they will give it to me tomorrow so I can sign it. I WAS REALLY LIKE :Jump::Jump::Jump::Jump:

I AM SO HAPPY! AND I KNOW MY FIANCE WILL BE SO HAPPY TOO! I AM READY TO SUBMIT MY APPLICATION TOMORROW!

No sucking up but I so love you guys, thank you so much for everything!! and I have just received another email from the VFS manager, I was just copied but it was her reply to my fiance telling him that the issue has been resolved :)

ANOTHER weird UPDATE.

Went to vfs earlier to submit my application, the receptionist did not give me a number as I was endorsed by the vfs manager. So I went straight to counter one and the agent called the manager, everything was smooth and they provided my printed application form. Was in queue for biometrics when they called me again, and the manager said that she was talking to someone from British embassy and told her not to accept my application because the page 1 and 2 (even if they were the one who printed it) are missing. The manager suggested to look for a computer shop nearby to try logging in again and reset my password and send her the screenshots, so I did it and same thing as my problem, I did not receive any, I even called the hotline of visa uk, which costs £1 per minute and they will charge it straight from your credit card, the Indian escalated my concern, but nothing happened. So I went back to vfs and told it to the manager. The manager asked me to show her the email of visa4uk the first time I reset it, I showed her and told her that I was able to change my password Before Thursday and logged in. But when I was about to print it Friday, I am unable to log in and I have the error message when I use logging in my email address and new password. The manager said, it could be virus, so I mentioned to her that last Thursday I went to university belt here in Manila and logged in my visa4uk account because I will print it out there, but I am unable to log in anymore, and told her that the computer is from a printing shop where there are lots of customers, especially from the universities, so the manager concluded that it was a virus. Then she called the embassy again and escalated it, then when she went out, she told me that it's all good now, I can go ahead with my biometrics.

The name of the manager is Cecile, and I am so thankful to her for being so helpful for everything.

And thanks to you guys for helping me, I've successfully submitted my application and documents.

So it was a lesson learned.

That's what we are hoping for, so all of these especially the stressed moments are worth it.

If my application got refused with this matter, do you think my boyfriend has a right to complain? And will it be like doing an appeal?

One person from application centre earlier told me that appeals are being processed after 8 months. Is it true?

Well I can say that the appeals route is long hard and potentially expensive one.
Currently 6 months is the standard time for a hearing date.
It's really only worth considering if UKVI have made a mistake and you're both prepared to go that way.

Your application won't get refused as it appears you've complied with the UKVI requirements.
It's intended to be a joint effort by you both as a couple.....sponsor and applicant. Refusals do get made from time to time but that shouldn't be any reason to come between you.

If your boyfriend had any reservations about the quality of your application he should have made them before the application was submitted. IMHO

Stay positive and stay solid.

Yes I know that is a consideration my gut feeling is put in a complaint.

There are others on here who I'm sure will have raised "official complaints" about similar appalling service whilst their applications are going through. Thankfully I never had to experience dealing with these faceless, bureaucratic imbeciles as Mrs D was already in the Uk working as a nurse.

Yes, when I was applying for marriage visitor visa, it was the most anxious two weeks of our lives, our world stopped and got really stressed, but since is longer than that visa, I just told my boyfriend to take off our mind from thinking that we are waiting for the result so we can still continue living whilst waiting and not be stressed. Haha another lesson learned from my previous visa application.

Honestly I'm so thankful about this site, I have recommended it to some who I talked to earlier.

Question: aside from the form that we filled it and printed out from online, does the embassy has it's soft copy? I meant do they have access for that? I am worried as at first embassy told vfs not to accept my application because page 1 and page 2 are missing, however they've also printed my application from their data base but they weren't able to print out the page 1 and 2, but in the end as I've mentioned, embassy gave signal to vfs that they can accept my application because it's already ok. I'm just thinking that if they let me pass my application and they're aware that there are missing pages, I'm thinking that they might refuse my application because of missing pages
