Just to prove I can rant about the Tories and not bury my head in sand - this bitch wants kicking out for fiddling

Any politician proved to be dishonest should be immediately kicked out. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Agreed. This problem seems to affect politicians from all parties. Too much of a 'pally' scene will probably stop her from being deposed as an MP candidate at the next election too.

They never seem to slag each other off that much over expenses which to me is an indication that there's a lot of them at it. I'm with Graham once you're caught you should be sacked.
Whilst we're on the subject of fiddles I can't believe what I'm reading over the Post Office privatisation. Under sold to the tune of £500 million to £1billion. Sack Cable and renationalise it immediately. City of London gangsters at it again :cwm23:

How dare they sell a ROYAL postal service that belongs to the people of this country anyway ?

I don't remember being asked to vote on it. :Erm:

Hmm :cwm25: ... whatever happened to Cameron's pre-2010 Election pledge to the effect that falsifying expense claims would NOT, in any way, be tolerated within his Party?

In any other line of work you would get fired immediately

Cameron sides with another one of his cronies :cwm23:

I also believe this is a clear case for reprimand and sacking.

This whole controversy involves more than £90,000 of claims over four years.
The fact that she has been ordered to pay back only £5,800 is just totally unbelievable.
The Standards Committee demand £45,000 and were overuled :doh

Shouldn't the Police be involved somewhere.

She's been ducking and diving and deliberately blocking the investigation for well over a year.

Disgrace. Period.

A Labour MP has quite rightly written to the Met Police about this disgraceful woman

Send it to Andy. You'd more than likely make a better job running the asylum than those lunatics we got in place at the moment.

She's resigned as a minister but stays as an MP still able to keep her snout in the trough. She should be sacked, barred from public life, have her second home sold and all profits returned to the treasury.:cwm23:
She's not the only one though and it's high time that this problem was sorted once and for all. Why should they be allowed to keep second homes when the interest is paid by us. When they finish as an MP the home should be sold and all profits paid back to the country.
The rules have changed recently but still being abused. Chris Bryant now rents his second home to another MP to pay the mortgage and he in turn rents another home which is paid for by the tax payer. This is worse than Benefit Fraud they should be arrested :cwm23:

£20,000 donation paid to Conservatives by firm at the middle of a controversial garden centre bid

LABOUR councillors have questioned whether their Conservative opponents are in a position to rule on a controversial garden centre bid, promising 300 jobs, after the local party received a £20,000 donation from the applicant.
