View Full Version : Cathay Pacific Manchester-Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific today ( 10 April ) announced that it will launch a four-times-weekly service between Hong Kong and Manchester from 8 December this year. The service will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Flights will depart from Hong Kong and also Manchester every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.


The flights are quoted from £ 659 between Manchester and Hong Kong. From Manchester – Manila on 8 December ; including Christmas and New Year in the Philippines ; returning 7 January from Manila, is not cheap ( around £ 800 ). Durations are from just over 15 hours Manchester to Manila, 17.5 hours return. The same dates between London Heathrow and Manila are around £ 823 ( 14.5 hours and 17.5 hours ).

thanks Alan , we was looking at these flights for this coming Jan 2015, and just like you say over the £800 mark, just have to keep checking, plus we dont have the dates yet given to Ems from her work :doh:doh:doh:doh

My wife has had her holiday leave request denied.......looks like she'll have to re-apply with different dates.....no Philippine Christmas for us :bigcry:

A quick look at flight costs aren't making me smile.
