Any chance you can give me the link where you checked? Just in case I am doing it wrong!

Congratulations !!! Did you take the tests at the same location ? And where was that ?? My wife is looking to re book her test as soon as possible after the Hopkins test was cancelled. She is a little confused at the moment and stressed after a long wasted journey.

Hi Mick, there are plenty other tests on the UKVI listing here (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/304853/approved_english_language_tests.pdf)
May I kindly suggest to review this webpage British Council Philippines IELTS Test Dates and Locations (http://www.britishcouncil.org/philippines-exam-ielts-test-dates.htm)
It might be helpful
You can find details of the British Council List of IELTS Authorised Registration Agents here (http://www.britishcouncil.org/agents_web_directory_2014v1.pdf)
IELTS is a slightly more advanced level than A1 being graded at B1 as a minimum....this can be an advantage once she arrives to UK and starts to consider ILR etc
Contact the British Council by e-mail at britishcouncil@britishcouncil.org.ph
Cambridge English has Various approved Tests and offers Test Centres in Cebu City, Makati and Pasig
Look here for more details on Cambridge English Tests (https://support.cambridgeenglish.org/entries/22900082-UK-Home-Office-spouse-partner-visa-applications-accepted-A1-level-Cambridge-English-exams)
There's also Pearson with their Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) graded from A1 upwards to C2
Take a look here for Pearson (http://www.pearsonpte.com/TestMe/About/Pages/HowtousePTEAcademicwithUKBA.aspx)
