Well, the last few days I have been looking at the new insurance for building and contents. Its a minefield out there, you can have this and that and pay for this too, add this to that it goes on and on.
I think I know who I am going with and I am happy with what I am paying too and for what.
£139 all in, new for old and so on.

Who did you go with Steve ?
I've been offered £204.00 Post Office (on a beat your current renewal by £50 +), £225 Kwik Fit haggled down from £256 (my current insurers), £317 greedy Direct Line who I kicked out last year
I can get £75 off all of these by dropping legal & home emergency. I might check out TopCashBack

Don't anyone on here use Saga, they are very competitive, I used to get buildings and contents for as little as £85 when I bought my new house in 2007 building up to £250000 and contents £50000, bear in mind I've never claimed on House or even car insurance in my life!:xxgrinning--00xx3:
