Do the green party have any candidates?

From what i have read on this forum it seems that Tory voters are defecting to the UKIP and most of the Labour voters will stick with their party.

Les, you want to make a bet with moi?

Looking at the poll it seems you are voting for a sure thing :Erm:

To be honest, i have no interest in British politics, as it doesn't affect me or my family. However it does seem a hot topic on the forum, so why not join in the fun!

How about a tenner and the loser donates the money to the forum?

Many here probably have already watched and listened to this debate between Farage and Clegg..
I just watched it last night.. IMO Farage beat Clegg hands down..
The big problem I can see on the horizon for Farage is the fact that he seems to be a one man band..At least where it comes to these types of debates..
Still...I`d vote for him if I could.

Actually..Just checked and it looks as though I can vote whilst living abroad..

Can British citizens living abroad vote?British citizens living abroad can vote in UK Parliamentary and European Parliamentary elections but cannot vote in local elections or elections to devolved bodies such as the Scottish Parliament, National Assembly for Wales or Greater London Authority.
British citizens living abroad for more than 15 years are not eligible to register to vote in UK elections.

But I'm pretty sure they'll increase their number of MEP's though. Maybe getting close to equal shares with Labour and Conservative.

SNP .................. 14,271
Conservative ...... 12,906
Labour ................ 4,890
UKIP ................... 4,386
Liberal Democrats .. 3,377
Scottish Greens ... 2,723
Britain 1st .............. 339
BNP ...................... 213
No to EU ............... 148

"Close run" thing between SNP and the Tories, as may be seen - with Labour, UKIP and the Lib Dems in 3rd, 4th & 5th positions, respectively. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

It could be worst Michael, lets hope no 1 party will win right out, and if there had to be 1 party make sure its the conservatives, this is just my opinion labour would destroy this country ,
Mr Farage even though i dont agree with all he says, he comes across much more true then anyone else on the panels so far, political correction he is not but is he right who knows,
Like i said we all have our on thoughts and opinions,
This is going to be Ems very first time to be able to vote so i am voting too, i wonder where her vote will go, now that will be interesting as people who dont know her think she is a immigrant and like most say they should not be here, but others say more are welcome ,
I do know when Ems sees what is happening to our country she cannot understand, she is more English then most now because there is quite a few English people who cannot understand too

Michael Parnham
19th April 2015, 10:44
I don't think Labour will win because Milliband is spending to much time criticizing the rest of the opposition, I find Cameron more serious minded about everything and you can't please everyone all the time. I don't mind who wins as long as they carry out the job in hand correctly and don't mess up our Great Britain!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

stevewool
19th April 2015, 10:55
Sorry Michael, but the Great Britain we all knew is long gone now,
I am not saying its all bad but things have to change about people coming here , that is the biggest thing in my mind, the trouble is everyone sees a migrant as someone who comes from another country and they should either be working before they can claim anything,
Now there are some parties out there saying this has been sorted , we are charging them for our NHS and they have to pay for visas too, and there are a lot of people think thats great at last something is being done,
But these people who have to pay for this is such a very small amount and most of us have had to go down that line, its Europe that is making this country suffer and there is nothing you or i can do about it other then vote for a change ,

Tories: Re-state commitment to cut net migration to the ‘tens of thousands’ from current level of 300,000. Make it harder for non-EU citizens to get marriage visas to enter the UK . Cap number of non –EU work visas at 20,700.
