A husband and wife appeared in court charged with breaking UK immigration laws by arranging the entrance of a young illegal immigrant from the Philippines.
Wolfgang Unwin, 68, and his wife Charito Unwin, 32, both of Albion Street, Grantham, appeared at Grantham Magistrates’ Court but gave no indication of their pleas. The case was considered too serious to be tried by magistrates and was sent for trial at crown court, beginning with a plea and case management hearing on September 8.
