Hello guys,
I know that there is a list of an approved English Test but I just want to be sure.. May I know which is the best another option for English Test aside from IELTS? IELTS seems to be expensive. I am from Marikina City, do you happen to know what and where i can take another English Exam?

Check the list here and maybe you can contact the ones that offer the tests in the Philippines.

ESOL has no expiry date....
About IELTS, just take the general module if you have no intentions to study/work in a profession like nursing.

Of course you can do the Academic module, it's just that the General module is easier than the Academic.
Academic module is normally required for study/work purposes in nursing field and such...
Try ESOL, I've heard it is easier than IELTS as you only need to do the speaking and listening bit wherein with IELTS, you need to do the four division of the exam, listening, reading, writing and speaking which will take 2 hours and 45 minutes all in all I think...while with ESOL, it will only take 10 minutes for the exam (that's what my friend told me who just took her ESOL exam a couple of weeks ago).

Try Trinity College in London. My friend took her ESOL there and she wasn't enrolled in their college courses.

Try to inquire into your local college. Some colleges has ESOL Skills for Life Entry Level Courses, worth a look.

Based on this thread, ESOL will be removed in the approved list by 1 August 2014.
