Looking at flights for the Phils, flying out Dec and back Jan.

Some great prices at the mo, under £500 if flying from London, and from Manchester £543, good flights too, Cathay from Manchester

Shey's going out in November to show the family the latest addition to their family, then back in February. I'll be going mid December and back in mid January. Maybe meet in Tarlac for a beer or 3 :smile:

That would be nice Simon, we are trying to get some sort of plan for the trip. Seeing the family plus enjoying the break for me too. We are trying to cover as much as we can with a few days here and there.

I would love to travel by my own car but I dont know what sort of cost plus the dangers too. Early days still, we are not telling the family we are coming so that will be a surprize for them or for us :biggrin:

We been trying for months but our problem is school once you have a child going to school here you are stuck with high prices of £900 each going in school holidays.

No matter where you fly to with kids the price goes up, they are saying now its cheaper to pay the fine and take them out of school

Just been browsing Qatar prices and found flights from Manchester Manila return depart 25th Nov return 15th December £1231 total for two passengers that's approx. £615 each, I think that's decent for the time of year, any comments? Three weeks holiday for someone, once Maritess gets her ILR I will book that if it's still available! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
