Hello there people, it seems some of you hate me and some of you like me. I didn't write any sort of intro, so I guess it was rude of me not to; plus I get to give you a little more information about me and who I am.
Obviously, I am not actually going to give out full details of who I actually am, mainly because the internet has a long memory of things we write and post.
My name is Edgar, or Eddie as everyone calls me. I am somewhat of an internet entrepreneur in that I own and operate a handful websites that sell products and services, some of those websites have bulletin boards attached to them for customer service reasons, so I am familiar with the software and maintenance of a bulletin board like this one. In fact I think we have a spare Vbulletin license as we've used VB on a couple of our sites as well.
However, I won't be linking my sites to this one, like I said the internet has a long memory and everything I write here shall not be linked to my company (we sell adult products amongst other things).
Am I a troll?
I've read someone curious about whether or not I am a troll. I find this quite funny, but I will answer this as best as I can. As far as I know, an internet troll comes in 2 guises, one kind of troll abuses people in an attempt to bring about a similar response, another makes absurd arguments that defy logic and invite an argument from someone trying to educate the troll.
I have done none of these things! I have stated my opinions and debated the merits of them and even included some scientific research when it comes to my view on monogamy. If you don't agree with what I said, that doesn't make me a troll. That makes me different from you!
So no, I don't consider myself a troll.
I also don't abuse people on here as I deal with customers every day and sometimes they are angry (out of stock, items not delivered on time) and I have learned to never take personal attacks too personally, so I usually don't respond.
I did leave a message for Steve.r asking for an apology for deleting a hotel review I made, but truthfully I don't really care. I wrote that and posted it, in between firing off a few work related emails where a supplier was getting a little stroppy so I wasn't in the best of moods at that point. But did it ruin my day? No. Did it ruin my hour? No. Overall, it was nothing so let's move on.
Politically, I am a conservative libertarian. This won't gel well with some here, I can already see this but I guess we are all different politically, so again we shall move on.
