BRP detail arrived in post, so after Maritess finished work at 2pm this afternoon we went to Post Office at Sheffield got everything done and dusted. Of course we had to go to Meadowhall to buy some Skechers, also went to HMV and bought some Blue Ray discs and finished the day off nicely by eating out, quite a nice day really! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

The Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) is proof of the holder’s right to remain in the UK.
UKVI don't put such visas in the passport these days.

The BRP is a photo ID with name, date and place of birth as well as fingerprints and immigration status.
A form of national identity card that also confirms a right to work and entitlement to public funds/benefits.

I went to Luton for my biometrics enrolment last Friday Han...it's the closest post office to us that do identity services.

Now, I'm having my fingers crossed for the result.
