My wife has started to apply for her visa, the application she is filling out is for settlement - wife visa as she could not find spouse visa. Is this the correct application form? It has thrown her as she says the settlement visa is applied for at a later date when in the UK.

The online form is a 'one-size-fits-all' concept..........terrible and confusing, IMHO

Yes it is confusing I looked myself for Monera and was unsure. Thx for putting our minds at rest :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Back to filling the application out after introducing the wife to watching England this morning. She enjoyed it and the bar was full of English in Makati where we watched it.

I have seen a date somewhere which is to be used if a date is not known on the application form. Monera does not know her father's birth date, and I cannot remember the date they tell you to enter or where I saw that. Anyone know that date?
The other question is what we can put in the additional information section at the end of the application form to help our case? Just looking for ideas!

So ... :anerikke: ... are there no VAF this, that or the other [numbers] being used now, Peter?

The VAF's still exist Arthur.
Just that the online form that covers all circumstances has drop-down menus where the options vary depending on the previous menu choices (if that makes sense)
The 'options' are not always logical or expected......means the next drop-down menu options could be unexpected and confusing......
