i'm surprised a judge has not ruled its against his human rights to be refused treatment :cwm25:

Maybe the Nigerian government could pay for it?

This is what gets up everyone's nose, we can't solve the world's problems - always sad when it's a child but where do we stop?

If we are truly such a caring nation, then everyone on the forum send £200 this month to help kids who are dying!

I think as said earlier the Nigerian Government could fund it - why is it always down to us suckers :mad:

I fully agree Les - compassion aside this is the National Health Service not a paid by UK Taxpayers International Health Service. Sounds to me that they came here in the first place as health tourists, goodness knows why they were given visas.

Yes I'm agreeing with you Dedworth. It says shortly after they arrived he was diagnosed. I imagine he was already ill and after being here a short while a trip to the doctors confirms it. Like I said before plenty of well off people at the top of the tree in Nigeria - let them fund it.

Perhaps one of the 576 Nigerian Consultants employed by the NHS would be prepared to treat the boy free of charge in his own time after the Nigerian Govt paid for the private facilities ??
