I doubt I'll find it anymore. Been turning the house upside down since morning. Maybe my mom mistakenly chucked it away.
Thanks Mrsmccann. Much appreciated. God bless

If she chucked it away it's probably in the bin. Is that bin removed in the premises? Can't imagine u digging in rubbish bags.
Silly thought of mine. :Erm:

I've done digging the bins but the scenario last night makes me think that it's totally impossible for me to find it. My mom used papers last night to make a flame for the charcoals that she used in barbecue-ing. :NoNo:

Cherrie,
My wife also lost her VFS reciept and I emailed VFS to ask what to do. The email address I used was "YoledaI@Vfsglobal.com" which we had from an earlier application, although this was in March before some of the recent changes, so I don't know if it will still be valid. The reply she got was this:
"Good morning. If you accidentally lost your receipt you have to present the affidavit of lost to the courier man."
She had availed of the courier service so her documents were to be delivered back by courier, rather than being collected from the VFS office. As it turned out she managed to find the receipt before the documents came back, but the courier didn't ask to see it anyway. Maybe they would be more strict if you collect the documents it person from the VFS office.
Not sure if this helps you, it was just our experience.
Good luck,
Martin & Aileen

Hello Martin & Aileen :Hellooo:
Sorry, I saw your reply just now. Yes, that's what they told me, to provide an affidavit of loss and so I provided one. No more questions and I got my docs instantly.
Thanks for your reply. God bless you both :)
