We are gutless and allow foreign filth, parastes and criminals the run of our capital city :cwm23:

A faint glimmer of hope from todays Sunday Express :-
EU migrants face tough new benefit rules and sanctions
JOBLESS EU migrants who have been claiming benefits for the past six months and show no signs of being able to find work could be forced to leave the UK from Tuesday.
It is one of a set of measures designed to give Britain the toughest controls on migrants in the world.
Under the new rules, EU nationals must wait three months before claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance and are entitled to it for a maximum of six months.
Anyone earning £150 a week, equivalent to working 24 hours on the minimum wage, will be classed as a worker.
Those earning less than that and claiming benefits will be interviewed to assess whether they have a genuine prospect of work. If they fail, they will be classed as “marginal and ancillary” and are liable to be sent home.
If language is a barrier to employment, claimants will be given six months to improve their communication skills. The rules will also apply to the right to claim child benefit, worth £20.30 a week for the first child and £13.40 for each additional one, and child tax benefits.
In April, new jobseekers from the European Economic Area were banned from claiming housing benefits.
Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith said: “The public have sent a clear message that they are concerned that migrants should contribute to this country and not be drawn here by the attractiveness of our benefits system.
“Freedom of movement is not a freedom to pick and choose where to claim benefits and we will continue to work with other countries across Europe that share our concerns to ensure we can protect the integrity of our benefits system.”

All this will do is get them playing the system even more. One gets sent home then another replaces them.
It's the system that's wrong not the people using/abusing it. They come because we hand out. Stop the cash and they'll go elsewhere.
They should be treated the same as an immigrant from outside the EU. No recourse to public funds for 2 years.

Listen Cameron says he will give you a referendum (if the tories win the next election). He does not want to come out of europe. He tells you he wants to make changes that are better for Britan. He has got no chance. £100 says we are still in europe even if the tories win. Want a bet Ded? After all Les has had a bet with tiger over the football and lost.:laugher:

How can a Labour voter claim not to be brainwashed after the last Labour government shafted us for years to come? You would have to be brainwashed and memory erased to want them back in power!

Ask the people who have been given the chance to buy their dream home by the Tories and then they hike the mortgage rates up to 5%. 5% is a conservative estimate. It wouldn't surprise me if it don't go higher. In reality a lot of them will lose their homes. Now that is being shafted!
andy222
1st July 2014, 10:10
Then we will go on to talk about the Police, Teachers and Army personnel who have been shafted by the Tories over their pensions. Never mind NHS staff who have been hit by this vile government. Anyway, back on the topic. It was Cameron who let these Romanians in.

Taking on a mortgage that you can't afford is shafting yourself IMO.
Too many greedy, irresponsible, status-seeking fools around.
Live within your means and allow for future increases !

When I took my mortgage on in the Eighties I could afford it. Nobody could predict the mortgage rates would go up to 16% under Thatcher and a Tory government.. Fortunatley I could afford it but a lot of people couldn't and lost their houses.
How do you explain that Graham?

Now - not wanting to be caught out - not only have I fixed my mortgage payments for the next 5 years but in doing so I've reduced my monthly payment by 25% from the standard variable rate I was on

True, but if I had bet him 20 odd times previously, I would have won every one :xxgrinning--00xx3:
I'm tempted to take the bet but it's too long away - I don't know who will get in but if the Tories did and we do get a choice the public would vote to come out I believe.
With your lot we're not even going to get a choice - that could cost you lots of votes as it will be played on big time next year :xxgrinning--00xx3:

You will be wrong (again :icon_lol:) if you think we will come out of Europe Les. Either Cameron would backtrack on his promise for a referendum or the vote will be fixed so we stay in Europe.
All Cameron is doing is telling you what he wants you to hear. And you, like some on here, have fallen for it. :icon_lol:. Cameron wants to stay in Europe, FACT! He will come out with the usual scaremongering. Job losses etc at the time of the referendum.
les_taxi
1st July 2014, 13:43
Totally disagree he will have to give us the vote and we would vote to leave.
Yes he want's to stay in Europe with new conditions but the public won't buy it.
Labour as I say once again will not even consider it and it will cost them at the next election.
politics are changing Andy thanks to UKIP-no party in their right mind (except Labour which is clueless)will ignore the cry to leave Europe.
