Hi,
To get the child tax benefits is that base our previous annual income to be qualified?

Child tax credit is based on your previous years total gross income this includes private pensions but benefits such as child benefit dont count.

Lol! I can't even write it right! Lol
Claiming tax credit is it base on husband and wife previous annual income? My husband is not working few months now( due to his injury, he's having a physio at the mo ready for September to go back to work). We got two kiddies, my husband received ESA. I tried to applied tax credit and they say I only get about £57 a week because we earned much last year. I can't understand why they base our previous income, the fact that's money are gone. Lol

If we earn less this year is that mean we can still claim tax credit next year? I got no clue with this matter it's my first time to claim, my husband doesn't have any clue as he works all the time.
