Hi all!

I'm not really new to this site but have not posted in a long time. Any Filipina from near Chorley Lancs? I've been here for almost 2 years now and I've not seen any Filipinas nearby even at Tesco! Although, come to think of it, I saw one but she never bothered to look at me. I've been to playgroups with my little one hoping to find from the Philippines but nada. If anyone of you is nearby, please send a shout! I'm on fb as well. I miss home and kababayan. :)

Are there no hospitals round your way? you can usually guarantee a few Filipinas working there....

Thanks for the reply. There's a hospital in Chorley but a bit far from where I live. And I don't think anyone would appreciate being approached at hospitals just to meet their acquaintance.

Hi phcare. You're a bit far from me. :) i don't drive and not confident to go on public transpo on my own yet with my son. Only been with my mother-in-law and husband usually drives us to where we go.

She's also asking me to ask you if you know of any filipino food stores nearby as we are still new to the area having lived in Phil's for the past four years

Ooh that's the same problem as mine. We used to go to Manchester to buy some from a Chinese shop there but since having the little one, not had time really. Does she have an fb, skype account? It'll be good to talk to her and meet her sometime. :)
