Philippines raises alert level of Mayon Volcano

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) raised Friday afternoon the alert level of Mayon Volcano in eastern Philippine province of Albay due to increasing unrest.

The state-run agency said that alert level 2 was raised for Mayon Volcano as magma was intruding at depth and that current conditions may eventually lead to a larger eruption.

The Mayon volcano was a sight to see, even though it was just the top of the cone, this is a place that is on my list to see and photograph again,
