WASHINGTON --
Journalist James Foley, captured and held six weeks while covering the uprising in Libya, knew the risks when he went to Syria in 2012 to cover the escalating violence there.

I have just watched the video and I find it strange that the guy slags off the West and his own brother before his head is chopped off. Why give these feckers the satisfaction if you,re going to die? He knew the risks and he paid the price. Not a nice way to go, and the scary thing is, the head-chopper could be back walking the streets of the UK if not caught. If you want to see the video, it's on bestgore.com

It could be,Tiger, that if he repeats the things they ask of the victim he is promised leniency who knows? Thank God, we would hopefully never be in that situation.

PM returns from holiday after video shows US reporter beheaded by BritonDavid Cameron to hold meetings at Downing Street after Isis video appears to show British extremist killing James Foley

David Cameron (http://www.theguardian.com/politics/davidcameron) is breaking off from his holiday in Cornwall to return to London after the "shocking and depraved" apparent beheading of an American journalist by a British Islamist extremist, Downing Street said.
The announcement came after Philip Hammond (http://www.theguardian.com/politics/philip-hammond), the foreign secretary, acknowledged on Wednesday that a Briton appeared to be responsible for the killing, which was shown in a video released by Islamic State (Isis (http://www.theguardian.com/world/isis)) militants.
A Number 10 spokeswoman said: "If true, the brutal murder of James Foley is shocking and depraved.
"The prime minister is returning to Downing Street this morning. He will meet with the foreign secretary and senior officials from the Home Office, Foreign Office and the agencies to discuss the situation in Iraq (http://www.theguardian.com/world/iraq) and Syria (http://www.theguardian.com/world/syria)and the threat posed by Isil [Islamic State] terrorists."
Intelligence officials in the US and the UK have been studying the Isis video. According to one government source, "there is no serious suggestion that it's a fake".
On Monday, as his holiday in Cornwall began, Cameron insisted there was no need for him to be in London to manage the Isis crisis because he was always "within a few feet of a BlackBerry". But his decision to go ahead with his West Country break – his third holiday of the year, by some counts – has been criticised in the media.

Sadly, the victims are now paying the price for the previous mistake of Blair in going into Iraq on lies. What we have now is far worse than Saddam. As you said, carpet bomb the scum for a week or two and then send the boys in to clear out the rubbish.

Net closes on British extremist butcher who murdered journalist James Foley
http://resources3.news.com.au/images/2014/08/21/1227032/492411-37c6c4b6-2927-11e4-943a-734490773104.jpg

INVESTIGATORS believe they will soon identify the hooded barbaric British extremist, ‘John’, who beheaded US journalist James Foley.
Suspects, based on lists of UK nationals known to be among Islamic State fighters, are being assessed.
The executioner is one of three UK radicals dubbed The Beatles, reportedly responsible for overseeing more than 40 Western hostages held by militants in Iraq and Syria.
MORE: Abbott warns beheadings could happen here (http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/national/tony-abbott-says-muslim-leaders-were-foolish-for-refusing-to-sit-down-with-him/story-fni0xqrb-1227031842592?from=herald%20sun_rss)
World leaders yesterday continued to express their revulsion at the grotesque murder of Foley, 40, whose parents said he was a journalist dedicated to raising awareness of the suffering of ordinary Syrians in the war zone.
Britain’s Scotland Yard and MI5 and the US’s FBI are working to identify ‘John’.
Together with European counter-terror authorities they are trying to match profiles and voice recordings, including from telecommunications intercepts and Guantánamo Bay inmate records, with the recording of the killer.

Blowing up a school and killing kids playing on a beach, wouldn't you call these people savages?

Whoever did it, they are still murderers - none of them are any better than the others. That goes for the Russians who shot down and murdered all those on MH17, those that killed the kids playing on the beach and whoever killed the 3 Israeli teenagers.

its a fact is it Les, so if its a fact you can give me a rough figure of how many of these 1,400 were human shields ? must be a high figure Les as the Israelis use precision bombing - the same precision that they used on the kids on the beach and the school they blew up, which the UN called a war crime.

what about this fact Les ???

The Israeli military has been forced to retract a statement claiming that the mortar shell that killed a four-year-old Israeli boy on Friday was fired from or near a United Nations school in Gaza.

Yes they do use precision bombing like we do and the Yanks, but if you are as cynical as the Palestinians and want the world to be on your side stuff the rocket site with kids in a building and let the Israelis bomb it and you can claim the moral hight ground.
These people think nothing of committing the most heinous crimes ever seen to man-it's in their blood.
What the west and Israel don't do is slit peoples throats, film it and post it online.
I could not give a .... if I'm deemed as anti Islamic any more.I have seen enough from the fundamentalists to want nothing to do with that ....ed up idealogy.

She says the Israeli army saved her families lives.

"I was amazed that the Israelis were providing medical treatment to Palestinian and Muslim gunmen...These Palestinians and Muslims were sworn, mortal enemies, dedicated to the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of Jews. Yet, Israeli doctors and nurses worked feverishly to save their lives. Each patient was treated solely according to the nature of his or her injury. The doctor treated my mother before he treated an Israeli soldier lying next to her because her injury was more severe than his. The Israelis did not see religion, political affiliation, or nationality. They saw only people in need, and they helped."

Nour Saman, born October 21, 1964), is an American journalist, author, social commentator and activist.[1][2] Gabriel says that Islam keeps countries backward,[3][4] and that it teaches terrorism.[5][6][7] To promote her views, she founded the American Congress For Truth and ACT! for America, a citizen action network that promotes "national security and the defense of American democratic values against the assault of Radical Islam."[8]

She frequently speaks at American conservative organizations such as The Heritage Foundation, Christians United for Israel, Evangelicals and Jewish groups. In her own words, she gives voice to "what many in America are thinking but afraid to say out loud, for fear of being labeled a racist, bigot, Islamophobic, or intolerant."[9]:icon_lol:

She was very grateful for the help given to her family.

She founded the American Congress For Truth and ACT! for America

but

Gabriel used to tell audiences that Hezbollah was the group that terrorized her family for the seven years between 1975 and 1982. She stopped making this claim after people objected, pointing out that Hezbollah was formed after she left Lebanon, as a direct result of the Israeli invasion and occupation of 1982.

I'm sure no one on here is in favour of any Extremists, whether Jewish, Muslim , KKK, BNP etc :NoNo:

If IS take control of Iraq and Syria, Israel may be next on their list. Then the s**t will hit the fan.

Glasgow bomb plot: NHS doctor found guilty of terror attack on airport

An NHS doctor has been found guilty of launching car bomb attacks on Glasgow airport and a London nightclub as part of a nationwide terrorist campaign.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/3688837/Glasgow-bomb-plot-NHS-doctor-found-guilty-of-terror-attack-on-airport.html

A DOCTOR whose brother launched a bomb attack on Glasgow airport is suspected of recruiting youths for an Islamic terror group.

Ex-NHS doctor Sabeel Ahmed has been named by anti-terrorism detectives as being behind a secret campaign to get youths to join Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Ahmed’s brother Kafeel drove a burning Jeep Cherokee into the airport in June 2007 and later died in hospital after .suffering 90 per cent burns.

Ahmed was then jailed for 18 months after he was convicted of withholding .information about his brother’s plans, before being freed and deported to India.

Now India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), set up by its government to combat terrorism, has named him in a legal document as a LeT member who recruits jihadists.

Ahmed’s been .identified as a suspect nicknamed “Motu Doctor”, accused number 21, in a chargesheet filed by the NIA into a LeT plot to recruits youths from Bangalore, the Hyderabad, Hubli and Nanded areas.

The 32-year-old, who now lives in Saudi Arabia, has been accused of setting up two meetings in the desert kingdom to discuss “jihadist activities” on Hindu leaders.

His brother-in-law Dr Imran Ahmed has also been named as being involved and was arrested in Bangalore on November 28.

LeT have been behind various terrorist acts in India, including an attack on .Mumbai in 2008 when gunmen killed 166 people.

A good piece highlighting the predictable hypocritical view of the BBC, leftists, rent a mob etc.

THE TRUE FACE OF HAMAS

A kneeling American is filmed being murdered by a black-clad and masked IS fighter — and it is the biggest story of the month.

Days later, 18 kneeling Palestinian captives, including two women, are filmed being murdered by black-clad and masked Hamas fighters (pictured) in Gaza — and it’s not even a headline. The extent of the difference in media treatment is puzzling.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/08/25/article-2733501-20B5DAEC00000578-39_306x423.jpg

Perhaps it’s because the conventional view is that the oppressor in Gaza is Israel rather than Hamas, and therefore there is little interest in the latter’s customary depravity.

Hamas put out a statement to the effect that the 18 men and women were executed (in front of crowds leaving prayers at a mosque) because they ‘had provided the enemy with information about the whereabouts of fighters, bombs, and places of rockets’.

That, of course, is what bothers Hamas, not the deaths of children in misdirected Israeli strikes.

Since there was no trial, we can’t know if they really were ‘collaborators’ or just political opponents.

Hamas has a way of dealing with those: in its battle to wrest control of Gaza from its rival Fatah, its thugs tossed their trussed-up enemies alive from the top of buildings.

Remember all this when you see anti-Israel protesters chanting ‘We are all Hamas now’.

If the informers cost Palestinian lives, and the sentence is execution, then that is their justice. Informers in many countries know the outcome of what happens if they get caught, but they still do it. In Palestine they are usually bribed or blackmailed by the Israeli authorities. It is not that long ago that the IRA used to execute informers.

Is summary execution how the elected Hamas Govt treats all citizens suspected of a "crime" ?

Nope, just informers.

Better than jailing a traitor at tax payers expense, and then letting them out after 3 years for good behavior. :doh
