Hi all,
I would like to say thank you for this forum for all your help and advice. I received my letter today, my British Citizenship application is approved, after waiting for nearly 4 months finally I got it. Oath taking ceremony will be next week.

I did Sir, It was very quick though.. One more to think about - passport interview!

Not quite!...you might want to apply for Dual citizenship which means reappying for your Filipino Citizenship. Might be worth doing soon as someone at the embassy mentioned it might be changing soon. The good news is its not expensive.

You will be surprised at how long it takes for the British Passport interview..............maximum of five to ten minutes!! :biggrin:

Not quite!...you might want to apply for Dual Citizenship - which means reapplying for your Filipino Citizenship. Might be worth doing soon as someone at the Embassy mentioned it might be changing soon. The good news is its not expensive.
At the moment I'm not planning to apply Filipino citizenship yet! My kids are dual...
