A word of warning - check out the EU origin mark and small print on some of the salmon - "Norwegian" but packed in Poland.
All in all though I agree a brilliant shop, they & Aldi show the obscene mark ups being put on by the racketeering Brit supermarkets

I am trying out the Lidl near me next week - never been.
I do use Waitrose and M&S for treats so I will give an honest opinion :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Popped in there today it's the start of their "German Week" offers - supping on a nice can of Perlenbacher Festbier 5.5% £0.99. Quite a nice darkish obviously Reinheitsgebot brew
Other than that kept my purchases patriotic with 500ml bottles of Spitfire @ £1.25 (what else in Battle of Britain Week ), Shepherd & Neame Tapping the Admiral £1.19 & Shepherd & Neame Whitstable Bay £0.99
