Well, my daughter eight years old has been granted an ILE visa to join parents a couple of months ago, when is the appropriate time to register her as a British??
Her Elder sister and I are both dual citizens (Fil/UK)

From memory, I think as she is under 12, she can register anytime as you are already a British citizen. Remember, Citizenship is not a right, it's at the discretion of the HO

The length of time the child has lived in the UK – we expect at least 2 years
residence (particularly if the child is over the age of 13)

Thanks Joe!!
We plan to go on checking service for British registration after about six months because we need to gather some references from her school and GP to go with her application.

Sounds good, thou it says 2yrs for 13yrs old +, the longer she is in the UK before you apply can only help her case :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Good you're using the Checking Service, you don't want to waste what - £800 :cwm24:

Yes, if we could get it before the fee for British Registration goes up again next year, then that would be nice.
