In my efforts to get fit i have been going on 3 mile walks before work about 615 am,today i went into the Beautiful Yorkshire countryside for a 6 miles walk, over streams, cattle grids and up bloody big hills:yikes:
Tired now but I'm into it and will have to buy proper outdoor gear etc.
My new hobby:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Well done for keeping fit Les. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
I go biking every day now, for the same reason.
Thank goodness we live in 'God's own country', and have so many beautiful places nearby to explore.

You will benefit long term Les if you can find time to walk daily, I've been doing at least five miles per day for the last twenty two years and hope I can continue another twenty two years!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Hey...Pete .
Put those Clark shoes on and start walking North 5 miles a day. After 40 days you'll be in a much better place.

To all you walkaholics.
Why not do a sponsored walk for the Yolanda victims?

Do enough charity stuff as it is - ask Tiger!
Know it sounds a bit bad on a filipino forum but I only do UK charity and recently 'Help for Heroes' is the only one I do.

I like to keep fit by running. Did the London marathon in 2012 and quite a few 10KM runs over the past 5 years. However this year I have not run much at all due to the fact I have been running around organising a wedding and paperwork for the visa application.
Anytime now I also expect a letter through the door to say if I am accepted/rejected for the 2015 London marathon.... Although to be honest I am nowhere near ready to run 26 miles again. I struggle to do 3 miles at the moment!

As an inspiration to anyone my mate Steve who is 55 had heart attack when he was 40. Since then he has run in about 20 marathons inc London. He recently did some run which was about 75 miles!

I walk 5 miles a day through Epping Forest, would not want to venture north of Watford though.
London, great place that keeps the rest of the UK afloat.

Beer's great here, get any beer you like. Not an eel lover myself but great diversity of food. Don't mind homosexuals, each to their own.
In fact it's safe here in London, most of our problems have been imported, whereas your problems such as kiddie fiddlers and serial killers are homegrown.

Don't have to worry about fashion any more at my age, just comfort and Clarks are great, like yours, well travelled. I find trainers really uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
