Yesterday evening got a bit chilly but I refrained from booting it up. I managed to get to Xmas the other year without the heating on too.

Nope. I have an extra layer of clothes on. No way will I be paying for heating yet. :freezin:
If it gets really bad I'll go down the road and sit in the library.

That's our Graham lol. I have had a couple of 1 hour blasts on an evening this week. My gas and electricity bills cost approx £1.50 a day in summer and £3.00 in winter.

Yes from Monday, was trying to last another 2 weeks when my latest bill came, as I haven't had heating on since the last bill.
However since Monday I have had it on in short bursts to take the chill off.

If you visit Graham remember to wear thermal underwear, mittens, Parka coat and Arctic survival gear. Oh, and take a flask as he ain't wasting money heating up water for cup of tea lol

Mine went on for a few hours yesterday then an hour while we were out this lunchtime. Just got in, and the first comment was "isn't it nice and warm?" Which translates to, "my hubby is tight and won't leave the heating and hot water on all day because I am weird and need to feel like it's summer time at home while I'm in the house".
The strange thing is, when we went outside it was not cold enough to wear a jacket, just a thin sweater and no T shirt was enough.....
I already accept I will never understand her logic!
