They have most likely put them up in some hotel or given them some money and told them to report to Immigration next week....:cwm23:

You're quite right - West Mids police think nothing of the millions lost to the economy, folks missing flights, funerals, medical appointments etc etc due to their their irresponsible "Health & Safety"-driven action. A flurry of P45s should be issued but won't

Any idea what this has cost the taxpayer, and the poor people that were stuck in that traffic?? One big joke this country is!

West Mids Police couldn't give a damn :cwm23: They probably helicoptered in the BBC camera crew for next month's Motorway Cops though

Me and the missus got stuck behind a police car chase this morning on the M53. It was like being in LA.

Not sure how accurate this story is as I was in the area at this time and there were no queues around J10a northbound and traffic was travelling southbound. Furthermore the services are nearby so why didn't they take them there instead of closing the whole motorway. Where's the logic in that? :anerikke:
There was however a multiple vehicle accident one junction before at around the same time. :Erm:

I was at the front of the queue in the fast lane. 5 Cop cars, 4 boxed it in and pulled it over. :xxgrinning--00xx3: It felt like I was in the Expendables
