Hello

I am hoping someone can advise on the steps I need to take..I have met a wonderful filipino girl whom I hope to make my wife in the future...At the Moment she is married but seperated. She has told me she can get annulment but I have read that this can take a lot of time . I have told her that I will pay for this however. But in the meantime I wish to get her over to England on a Visitors passport. I want to know if this is feasible given my current salary of £17000...I do own a house however...I have heard about sponsoring but wondered if I would qualify for this given my salary is not all that great.
Can someone tell me the steps I need to take to apply for a visa on her behalf as she doesn't know how to go about it or does she have to apply herself...Just some advise please maybe webpages

Thank You
Paul

Hi Paul

Never tried to get a vistor visa but there are example of couples on here who have managed im sure some of them will give you some idea if it is possible.

If you own a home and you have spare cash every month it sounds feasible.

Good luck and take care

An entry clearance officer must be satisfied that she meets the requirements of the Immigration Rules, which are that:
1.she is seeking entry as a visitor for no more than six months and

2.she intends to leave the United Kingdom on completion of her visit and

3.she has enough money to maintain herself without working, or help from Public funds. Or that you have enough funds for her stay.

4. a letter of sponsorship explaining your relationship to her and why the visit is taking place at this particular time may be helpful.
If you are paying for the trip you should say so and give details of where the she will be accommodated.

a letter of sponsorship detailing your occupation and salary and how you will be supporting and accommodating her.
evidence of your ability to finance the trip, such as copies of your last six months bank or building society statements and salary slips.

Goodluck.
