Supersize Sisig at Big Bite! The Northern Foodfest opening in Pampanga

A giant pan of sisig that can feed a multitude, cooked by a team of chefs headed by celebrity chef Sau Del Rosario, opened the three-day Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival on the grounds of MarQuee Mall in Angeles City, Pampanga, Friday, October 17.

Chefs Sau Del Rosario, Jam Melchor and Bong Sagmit, and the HRM students of Systems Plus College Foundation headed by Dean Rennier Perez whipped up approximately 300 kilograms of sisig in an 11-feet-in-diameter pan using 60 kgs. of chicken liver, 225kgs of pork cheeks and ears, five sacks of onion, two sacks of calamansi, five gallons of soy sauce and 10 kgs. of siling labuyo (bird’s eye chili).

60kgs of chicken liver, 225kgs of pork cheeks and ears......SARAP :icon_lol:

Sisig tastes quite good once you have had a few beers :wink:
