I normally don't put one up but I have a new local girlfriend
so might not get away with it!

Rose has been asking for weeks, but to me Christmas isn't until December. I'm happy to have a tree, but not until then (luckily we've got a 'posh' plastic tree so it can survive a month). After dismantling in January I might put the tree in the loft so it can't be deployed without my assistance

Christmas is for kids!

I have lived in my flat for 12 years or so, not once have I put up any decorations, I refuse!

However should Harlene be here by Christmas I may have my hand forced this year!

Here is my attempt at a Christmas tree years ago, and that only went up because my godson bought it for me and he wanted to see it... it went away once he went home!

People who are happy with their lot are also likely to be unquestioning and uninventive.

Hence why our ancestors led the world for hundreds of years , plus created the industrial revolution, most of today's labour-saving appliances and modern gadgetry.
