Hi,

Just a quick hello. My name is Alex and I live near Heathrow in the UK. I have a Container Self-storage Yard/Removals Company, and what led me to this forum was the need for some advice and info!

I'm looking to start a new Container Logistics Company and hoping to send out customers' goods either by LCL or FCl by sea. I can arrange UK collection and have the facilities at my yard to load 3 or 4 40 ft containers at one time.

Does anyone have any info on starting something like this?

From what I've navigated through already, it seems like a great forum!

Hi Alex, welcome to the Forum. I've been involved in general road haulage all my life. Never been involved in continental or international transport though.

There are a couple of other members who may be able to advise you - depending on what you need to know.
