Nearly pood myself, :omg: we are living on the top floor of our construction temporarily.
The building shook and wobbled just minutes ago; lasted about 1 minute.
First time experience of this.
Well, it's testing the building.
Don't think I will sleep tonight.
Maybe I will sleep on the loo. :icon_lol:

Been there, done that!!
Aftershocks will be next, one after the other - depending on how rough the initial shake was..
After a while you imagine aftershocks..
In the end, I used to sit with a full glass of water to look for ripples to stop me from thinking I was going mad.

I experienced a 6.9 tremor when on the top floor of Robinsons Dumaguete. I felt the same as you Stewart, it was a weird feeling but managed to get out of the building calmly into an open space away from the building. Even though people were panicking there was an eerie silence. Luckily no one was injured but lot's of devastation in surrounding areas. Never want to experience it again. Be aware in future Stewart, and put a plan in place where you can safely move to in an emergency!

I used to work in Makati on the 39th floor of the building. Just imagine how shaky it is whenever we get these earthquakes, no matter how much intensity it is. Haha :icon_lol:

Trust Lolita to be away on a trip, I'm home alone!
To be honest, I don't think I would have made it down 3 flights of stairs - unless i pretend I'm drunk going down the stairs :icon_lol:

It can be really unnerving Stewart.
Nothing you can do
I've been in a few major ones and literally hundreds of smaller ones that shake the house and cause a couple of breakages.
Never got used to them as such. I doubt anyone who says they are. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Always worse when you're alone though :icon_lol:

Intensity 2? I'm guessing that's just a little one. :Cuckoo:

Last year we were in bed and the whole house moved, enough to rock you in the bed. I thought it was a big truck driving by, but never felt that before. Scary nature!!!
