Reminds me of the old colonial Singapore where I went to school in the 1950s.

Very good find Graham, still looks a very busy place in those days with traffic, the buildings and bridges look the same its just the horses have gone

A lot of it stayed the same, the roads and the buildings.. there are just too many jeepneys and people now. I grew up in that area where the video was taken and my parents and grandparents had many stories of the past that they told us. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Sadly, :bigcry: ... it's not a way I'm ever likely to earn any reps :nono-1-1: ... for the simple reason that I don't have access to any old videos. And even if I did ... :anerikke: ... I wouldn't have a clue how to post one on the forum ... much as I'd love to be able to do so.

Simply search on youtube Arthur.
Then copy the address line at the top after you've opened the video of your choice.
Paste that into the box on here opened when you press the little film strip icon at the top right of the reply box.
(alternately, simply write in front and after, your pasted text...with no spaces. )

Thank you, Graham ... those instructions you've kindly given me will prove most helpful. Accordingly, I've taken careful note of them for handy future reference.
