And just like that, it’s 2015!
It is, incidentally, Visit the Philippines Year.

The Department of Tourism released a video on YouTube late December to promote its new campaign. It features a 15-point list, “15 way to have more fun in the Philippines,” citing all the pretty little things you can do in our 7,107 islands.
From learning new dance moves at an 800-year-old festival (as suggested by Lonely Planet), to "working on your photo skills at the world’s selfie capital" (thanks, Time magazine!) to shopping, making new friends, and recharging “in the world’s best place to unplug” (Namaste, Conde Nast Traveler!), the 2:16-minute video makes us want to book plane tickets ASAP and explore more of our dear ol’ country.

Just don't go when the pope is visiting, as evidently they don't give a stuff about inconveniencing tourists or anyone else during that time.

That attitude is the everyday norm applied at anytime IMHO
