Hi guys

We are trying again for a visa, we have all the documents we need, or think we need..but in the interim the rules seemed to have changed, no longer is fiancee or marriage visitor visa listed on the .gov or VFS.. we are a bit confused and if mistaken we apologize..but it seems many things are different from last year.

Thanks

Hi,

The major immigration rules remain the same.
Often there are small updates but the main VAF forms remain the same.

You'll need to apply online.
The online system will step you through the various options including Fiancee visa.

As a first step please take a look at the UKVI webpage called:-

Apply to join family living permanently in the UK (https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/overview)

You'll need to follow the requirements of form VAF4A and Appendix 2 financial requirements for standard applications.

These can be found at this UKVI webpage Application for UK visa for family settlement: form VAF4A (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-uk-visa-for-family-settlement-form-vaf4a)

Don't be shy to ask any questions :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Example of the application form is here - Application for visa to visit UK to get married: form VAF1F (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-visa-to-visit-uk-to-get-married-form-vaf1f)

Hi- try to get an immigration lawyer from your partner's country. The lawyer will send all documents to you for submission. Just quite expensive but less stress and it worked for me. Thanks

And where do you think all those mandatory documents came from ?

Give me one reason why anyone meeting the immigration rules without complication would benefit from having an immigration lawyer ?
