Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to the Fil-Uk forum group!

Anyway, now that the holidays are over, it's back to normal stuff My husband and I are working on the paperwork for my visa.
I may need your help as I am wondering, how early can we apply for an FLR(M)?

I looked at the guidance notes and it was very general saying...just apply before your visa ends (?!)

Here are our dates:

My visa is valid from 21 September 2012 until 21 June 2015.

We are thinking of sending it on February 2015 but we are not sure if it's too early...

Your help and responses will be greatly appreciated!

The earliest you can apply is 28 days before your 30th month of stay here in the UK.

Hi Raynaputi,

Thanks for your reply!

I have been searching google on how early should one apply for the FLR(M) but nothing specific came from the searches.

Do you know where it says it in the UKBA website or the web?

I can't find any current written proof or publications about it in the UKVI website (maybe others can help you look for it) but it was stated in the old website before they've changed it to the .gov.uk one. But based on a lot of threads here (and some other forums I've seen), 28 days before the 30th month will be the earliest day you can apply for FLR(M). I'm sorry if I can't give you more accurate answer than that.
