Yesterday just chilling with a cup of tea at the beach, great view no one sitting in front, just watching the world go by and then the voice over everyone's bellows out:
A loud mouth Canadian. Wow, what he has not done in his short life and he is now working for some Red Cross agency and he wants everybody else to know about it not just his other two friends. I had to turn and see this guy and he looked like something from the sixties.
In the end, I had to move. He may have impressed some of the girls and boys there but all I could hear was lots of bull------t. By the way, he was from a province called Vancouver in Canada he was telling everyone. :Erm:

I think it's an American/Canadian thing Steve :cwm25:
Had one turn up at the bar in the hotel yesterday, I had to really bite my tongue because he talked above everyone else and demanded all the bar staffs attention without any consideration to others just wanting a quiet drink

I am never impressed by loud people, they always have to brag about how big they are :76: I much prefer normal people who don't need to try and impress me. You know me Steve, as do several others here on the forum and you know I am quiet. Blending in and not making an :action-smiley-081: of myself is far better than trying to seek all the attention.

I'm not keen on loud people either especially the overbearing types. :Help1:

Yes, :iagree:, Steve ... Myrna & myself had the pleasure of meeting you at Doc Alan's "do" in Scarborough and I can vouch for the fact that we were BOTH very impressed with you and the other nice folk we met on that joyous occasion. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Thanks Arthur, I tried to leave you a nice rep, but it says I have to share it around more :Erm:

It's nice to listen sometimes to others, but sometimes it's nice to sit and listen to the sounds of the waves and the birds too.
Fred, it was not you I am sure, and Steve, at our wedding I had to keep on looking round to make sure you were still there because you were so quiet - well, until you started singing that is! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

 Perfectly understandable, Steve ... I've had the same message loads of times myself when trying to give additional rep to someone I'd awarded it to not long before.
Simon kindly gave me some on your behalf! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
Meanwhile, I'm pleased to've been able to record my own token of appreciation to the thread on which you've posted those absolutely delightful photos of your growing family. :Jump:

When my partner lived on the Wirral she suffered years of
racist abuse from her vile, loudmouth neighbours.
Thank God she now lives in Wales with nice, non-racist
neighbours.
