What IS this?

Does anyone know what this icon is - next to minimise, top right hand of web page - a head on shoulders? I have only noticed it today and don't know how it got there. Could it be malware or an update?? This is only on Google Chrome, I don't have it on IE or Firefox.

Is it safe? Don't want to click it in case it's some sort of malware. :omg:!

I think if you're signed into Chrome it will give you the ability to switch to another account.
