Hundreds of applicants are expected to get hired in the two-day Manila Bulletin Classifieds Job Fair which opens today at the Skydome of SM North EDSA, Quezon City.
At least 22 companies are joining the job fair, led by platinum sponsor and BPO company Concentrix.
Other companies looking for new employees are: C3, Cognizant, EGS, Sitel, UnitedHealth Group, WNS Global Services, Inc., and Salmat Services.
Apart from positions in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) industries, job hunters can also scout for work in manufacturing, marketing, customer relations, manpower, and information technology (IT) industries, among others.
Applicants can learn from industry experts who will conduct seminars on career-building.
Readers who want to free themselves of the hassle of lining up can use the Express Pass form in the printed issue of the Manila Bulletin newspaper or register via the online job portal www.mbclassifiedjobs.com. A printed copy of the e-mail confirmation letter may be used as entry pass to the venue, as well. A Job Fair Kiosk directory will also be mounted in the area during the job fair to give job seekers information about the participating companies and their booths, as well as the list of available positions.
This is the second leg of the publication’s series of job fairs for 2015, following a successful eight-part job fairs last year. The first leg was held last January 17 at SM City Baguio where more than 20 companies from private and government agencies participated. The MB Classifieds Job Fair will be in Cebu on January 31.
Last year, more than 15,000 applicants participated in the job fairs held both in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
