A NORTH Devon woman has been “exiled” from her own country and forced to live in Ireland after marrying her Gambian husband.



Where there's a will there's a way! :wink:


After finishing her exams, Daisy found out about the Surinder Singh route which allows a British citizen to exercise their treaty rights and, after working in an EU country for three months, they can return to the UK with their non-EU partner.

I think she'll be surprised to discover UKVI expect significantly longer than 3 months' stay. :Cuckoo:

Maybe the government will use delaying tactics when processing their application so it would have been easier and quicker for her to get a job paying £18k6 in the UK :cwm25:

But then again they've been together since September.
