Did anyone else see the documentary I watched last week on BBC World News, about a Filipino man, Paco Larranga who was arrested with 6 others for rape and murder of 2 young girls in the Philippines 18 years ago?
The documentary focussed on how he was on a different island when the crime happened and how the judge would not listen to his 35 witnesses.
He just managed to avoid a death sentence after many years on Death Row, due to the intervention of the Spanish government, but now is still in prison in Spain.
I found it infuriating and sad to hear of his treatment under the Phil's legal system in the 90s and felt I had to sign the petition to help.

Or search Paco Larranga if you would like to find out more or sign the petition.
