Hi Scotty, welcome aboard Filiipino UK :welcomex:

Take a look here at the latest information from the British Embassy called MARRIAGE IN THE PHILIPPINES (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/400250/Marriage_in_the_Philippines_leaflet_as_of_30_JAN_2015.pdf) - (Explanatory Notice to British Nationals Contemplating Marriage in the Philippines)

You'll need to book appointment at the British Embassy online at this webpage here called When do you want your appointment? (https://www.consular-appointments.service.gov.uk/fco/#!/british-embassy-manila/oaths-affirmations-and-affidavits/slot_picker)

This forum thread called Marriage in the Philippines (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/51300-Marriage-in-the-Philippines-New-CNI-March-2014) may also hold some good info for you.

You'll need to carefully plan ahead and ensure you allow sufficient time on the ground in the Philippines to follow all procedures in getting married.
Do your research here in forum and ask any questions.
Personally I'd suggest around 3 weeks.

Unless you're planning to relocate to the Philippines you'll both need to also start thinking about preparing for a UKVI visa application for spouse.

So here's some guidance and links to get you started on that:-

- Apply to join family living permanently in the UK (https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk)

- Application form details here - Application for UK visa for family settlement: form VAF4A (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/application-for-uk-visa-for-family-settlement-form-vaf4a )

I'm sure you'll have plenty of questions due to your own personal circumstances. Please do ask any specific questions
in a new thread.

Although, out of date in some of the detail the thread linked here called How to apply for a spouse visa (http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/39740-All-New-Guide-How-to-apply-for-a-Spouse-Partner-Visa ) will at least provide an initial overview of the major processes needed. (I must make time to update this thread )

Good luck in your quest.
