Manila experienced something of a British invasion last month when the Princess Royal and pop stars Ed Sheeran and One Direction all visited.

Her Royal Highness’s visit was in support of Save the Children’s work across the Philippines, and many here were eager to see her.

"...on a balder note" I too often get mistaken for Jason Statham.
I'm happy to consider it an upgrade from being likened to Bruce Willis who, despite being younger than me, is considerably older than Jason Statham who is only 47

Just like the writer of the article, the one thing I too dearly miss from England is the beautiful countryside and grand architecture.

We were longstanding members of The National Trust and took full advantage and enjoyment of that during our time in UK.

I can highly recommend that as a great way to understand more about UK environment, history and culture in a most enjoyable way. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Many times in the 1990's pinoys asked me which part of america was London :Erm: once there was an influx of pinay nurses into the UK and the general populance realised the pound sterling £ has a higher exchange rate than the USD $ they had a remarkable improvement in their geographical knowledge :icon_lol:
