Moving Forward
8th April 2015, 10:51
My wife came to the UK on a UK Entry Spouse/Partner visa, arriving here on the 5th of May 2013.
This first visa expires on the 18th of January 2016.
If I understand the current requirements correctly, she can use her expired IELTS certificate (over 2 years old) for FLR providing she makes the application by the 5th of November 2015.
I have read that she can apply for FLR, 28 days before the 30 month she has been in the UK.
If my calculations are correct I make this from the 9th of October 2015 when she can apply for FLR.
Could someone confirm I have my dates correct and that she can make the FLR application from mid October and so avoid having to do the English test again.
