From now on, please do not repost content from other sites. A link is all that is required and ONE sentence copy'n'pasted. You must write a brief description of what the content is yourself, or a comment about it. Failing to do so is in breach of our Terms and Conditions and those of third party sites.
Do not post images unless you have the permission of the owner, or it is labelled as for free use.

:Erm: ... does that mean I cannot continue to post items of Philippines news unless they're typed in my own words?

Just a quick note.
When you read the newspapers or news sites, especially when it comes to major stories, they all get them from the same source. Reuters or AP (and a few smaller suppliers). They then rewrite the news, and put their own spin on it. If you read a new article, it is simple to write a quick summary in 2-5 sentences, and then add a link to it. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
For things like tourist guides for a 3rd party, and such, you can spend a couple of dollars using the rewrite service at https://ineedarticles.com/ or do it manually by using the free software, Article Reviser. You can find useful articles on http://ezinearticles.com/, and a 300 word rewrite costs about $1.

You can still use images, as long as they use the URL of the actual image from the site, as it counts as a backlink. NEVER host a copyrighted image on this server, that means do not upload them as an attachment.

Don't forget, you can use 1 or 2 teaser sentences from the main article, but no more.

You also do not have to quote the article or include links. Just do your own news post with your own views. Example: http://filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/56878-Rio-s-Wife-Dies?p=540222#post540222

Arthur, the link is what you see on the top of the page, the web address. If you look at the top of this page, it says "filipinaroses.com/showthread.php/56799-News-Articles-and-Other-Site-Content", that's the link. Everytime you open a page online, it will show the corresponding link of that page on top of it. That's what you copy. Highlight it and then right click then choose Copy. You can then paste it in your posts.
