:Erm: Didn't Chelsea buy Torres for £50M? :cwm25:
ManU paid £12M for Wilfried Zaha who did squat, and that was a Fergie buy. Not forgetting £26M for Anderson back in 2007, 8 years - 9 goals, a huge fee then. :omg:
Balo was a gamble, and hasn't started many games. We knew he was lazy, but he's done better than podgy Lambert :NoNo:

True Keith but both United players were somewhat unknown ability wise we all knew Balo was a joke buy before you got him and let's not forget that amazing flop Andy Carrol who you paid shed loads for:biggrin:

He was crap for the 6 months prior to being sold, as he never got over his injury. But the Chelski boss wanted him at any cost.

I think most folk would agree that 1 goal every 4 matches for a £50M is really crap, you should get a Ronaldo/Messi level of goals at that price. Balo has been crap, but he hasn't started many games. A lot of City players have been pants this season, and they don't come cheap.
