hi guys, hope someone can answer 2 question for me, I kind of know the answers but just one someone confirmed for them for me..

my wife passport turned up on 30/04/15 but the visa start date is 03/06/2015 to 03/03/2018(33 months), so we have just under one month before we can use...correct

also when is the latest departure date she can leave the Philippines, is it 03/09/2015. I am sure I have read 3 months from the start date 03/06/2015. which would leave 30 months plus a FLR extension of 30 months. this would would make add up to the 60 month 5 years....am I correct

Yes, your wife's visa is valid for entry to UK for 33 months.
Means she can travel to the UK for first entry at any time during that 33 months validity beginning 03/06/2015

But, to avoid needing to apply for an additional FLR(M) she should try to ensure that she arrives into the UK at a date that will allow her to reach 30 months residence. Then apply for her second 30 month FLR (M) in order to reach the mandatory 60 months residency for ILR eligibility.

There are no hard and fast rules on when to arrive etc. it simply comes down to budget and timing for ILR
