Self employment tax return

Applying for spouse visa for my wife and I'm self employed. I usually do my own tax returns and print out the form etc. but I read somewhere that you need a qualified accountant to fill form and submit your return. Is this true? as I have all my monthly statements now and ready to fill my return, so can submit my return ...

Unless the rules have changed you should still be able to do your own tax returns. Best phone them up if you don't get an answer on here.
