Soon legit users of Windows will get the free upgrade. I noticed the Windows symbol had appeared on my task bar the other day. Open it and you can register for your free upgrade when it's available.

Yes I saw an ad for Windows 10 a couple of days ago, also one for Windows 8 last year, but I dare not click on anything in case anything changes and then I'd have no Idea what to do, I'd end up throwing the computer in the bin and buy a new one. I'll stick with my Windows 7 :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I will happily be the tester if you like, Windows 8 was a disaster which made then release Windows 8.1.
Hopefully Windows 10 will be good. As for it not working pirated games, don't believe that for one second

Also remember many people would not budge from xp then after trying Windows 7 they realised it was much better than xp.

Updates for Windows 10 will only be available to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users I think..so I really need to update to 8.1 to get 10.

Windows 10 is free for the first year, after that you pay. I'm beta testing 10 now, can't say that I'm impressed.

No, it's free as long as you take advantage of the offer within the first year. After it's been out a year and you then decide to get it you pay. So the early bird catches the worm so to speak. Retail price if you leave it till then is about £70

It can only be an improvement on Windows 8. I wanted to UPGRADE to Windows 7 from that but couldn't.

Then the update of 8.1, they brought back what looked like a start button - but the people's celebrations only lasted seconds, when they realised clicking it just put them back to a different screen. Ask Microsoft why?

"Because **** you, that's why"..........was their response

Windows 8 is a bloody nightmare which makes Vista look good

imagine

yeah vista was far better than 8,

though I never had xp, the best for me after vista was 7,

8 is just a total failure
