Mactan-Cebu airport terminal construction starts June 30

The new terminal is seen to increase the airport’s passenger capacity to 12.5 million a year from the current 4.5 million

I saw a scale model of this at Cebu airport last year when I was going back to UK.

12.5 million passengers a year?! I doubt it very much. It has a single runway with no space for a second and it will have serious competition from Bohol's new international airport whose construction has just commenced.
