Because Britain is a 'free' country.

Does that mean anybody can fly a Union Jack if they so choose wherever they want? I doubt it because that will cause offence to some. :doh

I turned one into a rough jacket over my leather jacket when I was 16. Went into my local pub - and 5 minutes after being served, the landlord came over to me and kindly asked not to wear it as it was offending some of the veterans :biggrin:

I was 15 and I looked it. Back in the days when I played amateur football with the adults. Travelling to away matches in the back of the centre-half's escort van he used for his painting & decorating business and stopping off at the pub on the way back home. Happy times. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
